In developing core strength by using the deep back muscles, abdomen and pelvic floor, Pilates creates a strong supple spine, better posture and efficient movement patterns.
Doing Pilates awakens thousands of otherwise dormant brain cells, which has been proven to reduce dementia and depression. At Pilates Passion, we have created a nurturing, supportive and non-competitive environment while helping clients rediscover their own body. Even if you follow no other instructions, learn to breath correctly. The breath represents awareness, spirit, and life force and through the practice of Pilates, we create a meditational moment. If you are not breathing, you are not alive!
